Trading In?

I%26#039;m financing An 08 Nissan Sentra and would like to trade it in for a bigger car ( Pathfinder) , would my monthly payments go up, or would it stay the same?
Trading In?
Of course they will go up. The Pathfinder is a much more expensive vehicle than the Sentra. Unless you put a good deal of cash with it, then you will be financing more, so a higher payment.

Not only that, but if you have an 08 Sentra, odds are you owe more than it is worth. It takes about 2 yrs or more to reach the point where the loan balance and car value are equal. So you will have to cover the negative with cash, or roll it to the new loan (big mistake).

So yes. Yes the payments will go up.
Trading In?
I would think a path finder would cost alot more then you sentra, and will you be up side down on your trade, if so that will add more money to the final cost of the pathfinder. Should really keep the sentra until after summer and gas goes back down, and you will also pay it down more.
Reply:Uh, of course it would go up because the Pathfinder is a lot more expensive than the Sentra, duh.
