If they%26#039;re selling it for $1000- ....then no....

Here is my advice, it is expensive to repair any Lexus car, especially the car is 1995. If you want a cheap reliable car, you might consider Honda Civic or Toyota corolla. You will not regret it, but you might be regret if you buy this old car. Soon or later it is going to cost you a fortune to fix/repair it.

Looking for my first car...?

I love Jeep Wranglers but their gas mileage is a killer. =[

Is there anything similar to that? I want a car that is easy to manuever and fun to drive with decent gas mileage

Any good coupe or small sized car/SUV/truck with at least 20 mpg city below $15,000

The best vehicle that you can purchase for your first car would be a vehicle that you NEED as opposed to one that you WANT. If you purchase a Domestic Brand vehicle ie: GM Ford etc. you can usually purchase one with less miles as opposed to an Import with more miles for the same price, so it%26#039;s all relative. If you are a new driver, get a vehicle that is easy to view around without blind spots, this will help you to avoid hitting things. Domestic vehicles are historically cheaper to maintain mechanically when your talking parts, then their counterpart. Stay away from vehicles under $2500 as they are going to cost you in repairs. Also look for a fuel efficient vehicle for the environment

There are a few %26quot;fun to drive%26quot; options out there that get really good fuel economy. For example, there%26#039;s the Honda Fit, which Consumer Reports states to be a very quick, agile car. It%26#039;s also very practical, because of its MagicSeats, something that allows your car seats to be configured in a zillion different ways to hold anything you can think of. It also has standard ABS brakes (which make for really short braking distances) and Side airbags, front and back, which make this car a very safe choice. It gets 34 mpg Highway and starts at just below $14000 new. The new one%26#039;s coming out in November, so you could possibly get a cheap one as dealers try to get them off the lots.

The Honda Fit too cute for you? Then how about the Honda Civic? It%26#039;s way more fun to drive than most of its rivals and slips in just below your budget. Sure, there%26#039;s no A/C, but you%26#039;ll find it safe (scored very well in IIHS crash tests) and larger than the Fit. It also looks like a car worth far more than it is, whether you take the Coupe or Sedan. I find it looks like the future. Also, you can expect Honda quality and reliability with your agile purchase.

One other option to consider would be the Rabbit, but those things are quite costly and don%26#039;t fit in your bugdet, though they too are agile and almost as safe as a Civic, and have Electronic Stability Control, a technology that saves lives in low-traction situations. It is one of the only cars in its class to offer this.

In a few previous answers, I have explained what%26#039;s wrong with other small cars. Of course, some of these will be out of your range, but it%26#039;s still related.

%26quot;Why not Hyundai Accent? No ABS, lack of safety features. Toyota Corolla? Not fun enough, looks quirky. Dodge Caliber? Not fast enough, not enough quality or reliability. Ford Focus? See Dodge Caliber. Toyota Yaris? Reliable, but lacks oomph, looks and safety. Nissan Sentra? Nice, but has no personality. Mitsubishi Lancer? Cool, but quality still isn%26#039;t there. Suzuki SX4? Not fuel-efficient enough. Chevy Aveo? Not enough anything. Chevy Cobalt? Cool looks, no quality, but somewhat safe. Hyundai Elantra? Looks great, but still not up to Civic snuff in terms of power and agility, which can sometimes help you avoid accidents.%26quot;

Hope this helps you find a new car!

How can i finance a NEW car when i turn 18?

I am turning 18 in about 7 months and i want to finance a brand new car. I have a job but i only make minimum, and i dont have a co-signer. There is a chance i may be emancipated, would that help or make it more difficult? The car i want is under 20,000. I am just trying to figure out what steps i should take to make this goal possible.

Please help!!

Thanks!

Very unlikely unless your credit is very good which I doubt since your not even old enough to have credit in your name.

I would strongly recommend NOT trying to finance a car at this stage in your life. I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;re very responsible, but you%26#039;re still young... you don%26#039;t really know where life will take you just yet, and it would really damage your financial future if you found yourself in a spot where you couldn%26#039;t make the monthly payments. Try saving up for a decent used car, take good care of it, and after you%26#039;ve had that for a few years, trade up for something better. Keep in mind that having a brand new car and being as young as you are will make your insurance payments sky-high. Just my two cents.
Reply:you can go with no credit student car loan that will be useful to you and if you pay loans on time you will be benefited to improve your credit score, there are many online sources who provide student car loan with no credit and also with a low interest try to contact them and get your problem resolved, for your reference try http://www.carloans-forall.com my one of friend had recently get a student car loan for no credit and also with low interest rates, you may try this source.
